Recently we have been receiving calls and emails from concerned citizens regarding transactions from Active Online in the order of around $30. Typically the transaction refers to Education. Please see the example image on this page:
Please feel free to contact us to check whether we have any record of a sale on your card. You can contact us through our contact page and we will advise if it was a purchase from us. Please provide the amount and the date and we will check all transactions and respond asap.
We understand that this can be difficult and emotions run high but please be respectful when calling or contacting our staff. Just because you search Active Online on Google does not mean that we are committing fraud. It just means we have good marketing which is why we appear at the top in Google.
If we find it was not from us our advice is to challenge the transaction on your credit card through your bank. The vendor will be asked to prove that the transaction is legitimate and if they can’t, they will have to refund the payment and also a fee. We know, this happens several times a year to us when a customer forgets the transaction and on the rare occasion when an actual purchase is made unlawfully on someone elses credit card.
