What is Sitemesh 3D?

Sitemesh 3D is a software as a service tool for designing CCTV systems.  Sitemesh 3D maps each camera onto a 3D Google Map and visually displays the camera performance.  The camera display takes into account the height, tilt, horizontal field of view, resolution, published DORI (or calculated), published night vision range, and other factors.  The display is color coded to show the regions for Detect, Observe, Recognition, and Identify as per the DORI standard EN 62676-4.

How does Sitemesh 3D help with CCTV planning?

CCTV design typically involves purchasing enough cameras to cover all areas of interest.  Basically point cameras and let the recorder capture evidence.  With many installations there are structural issues with define where cameras can be placed.  These could be due to access for the cables required to connect the camera, small or non-existent roof cavity or cavities between floors, where conduit is not desirable.

During the planning stage the site is surveyed for access to camera locations.  Once the camera location options are known, cameras can be chosen to match the location and the coverage required.  Sitemesh 3D allows the designer to test the location with different cameras to gauge performance and choose the best camera for the location.  Sitemesh 3D will also show coverage black spots and areas where higher resolution or a zoom lens may be required.  With Sitemesh 3D the gesswork is taken out of the equation and the system can be optimised for best perfomance.

Sitemesh 3D subscriptions are month by month and you can turn off auto-renew to prevent being automatically charged.  This allows you 1 month to design your system and liaise with us before purchasing.  On receipt of your order and verification by Sitemesh 3D, we will deduct the monthly payment amount from your order.  You will need to subscribe to Sitemesh 3D with the same email address as you place the order to Active Online Security to enable Sitemesh 3D to locate the account and verify.

Yes, you can use Sitemesh 3D after your purchase.  We will cover the first months subscription to Sitemesh 3D to enable you to design your installation.

I purchased my CCTV system through another supplier.  Can I use Sitemesh 3D to design my system?

Yes, you can use Sitemesh 3D to design your system.  Unfortunately Active Online Security cannot provide the rebate for purchases from other suppliers.
