Akuvox WR01 Intelligent Edge Web Relay Controller

The Akuvox WR01 is an intelligent network-controlled edge relay designed to provide flexible remote control of connected equipment. Combining two relays, two inputs, BLE, Ethernet connectivity and an integrated web server, the WR01 can operate as a standalone controller or form part of a larger access control or automation network.

Equipment can be managed through a standard web browser without requiring dedicated client software. An open HTTP API provides integration options for compatible third-party platforms and automated control systems.

Two Relays and Two Inputs

The WR01 provides two relay outputs and two inputs for connecting compatible locks, sensors and other controlled equipment. This allows one compact controller to manage multiple access control or automation functions at the network edge.

Integrated Web Management

A built-in web server enables browser-based management without requiring separate client software. Administrators can access and manage the controller through a compatible standard web browser.

Deployment and maintenance features include auto-provisioning, configuration backup and restore, firmware upgrades, system logs, Akuvox Cloud management, Akuvox SDMC and ACMS Pro support.

Open HTTP API Integration

The WR01 supports HTTP API integration, providing a flexible interface for compatible third-party access control, automation and management systems.

Bluetooth Access Control

Bluetooth 5.0 support enables BLE proximity-based relay control. This provides an additional local access method for compatible applications and devices.

Flexible Power Options

The WR01 supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet, allowing power and network data to be delivered through compatible Ethernet infrastructure.

The controller can alternatively accept 12V DC at 1A, 24V DC at 500mA, 12V AC at 1A or 24V AC at 500mA. This wide input range provides installation flexibility across different electrical environments.

12V DC Auxiliary Power Output

An integrated power output can provide up to 12V DC at 0.5A to one compatible external device. Depending on the requirements of the connected equipment, this may eliminate the need for a separate local power supply.

High-Capacity Local Storage

The WR01 supports up to 20,000 users and stores up to 100,000 access logs locally. This enables access information to remain available directly at the edge for local retrieval and management.

Ethernet Network Connectivity

A 10/100Mbps adaptive RJ45 Ethernet interface provides wired network connectivity. Supported network protocols include IPv4, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP and ARP.

Wall or DIN Rail Installation

The WR01 can be wall mounted or installed on a DIN rail, allowing it to be positioned to suit access control cabinets, equipment enclosures and other installation environments.

The enclosure is manufactured from 6063 aluminium alloy. The WR01 measures 154.45 x 71 x 26.9mm and has a specified working temperature range of -20°C to +55°C.
