Akuvox R20B 4 Button SIP Video Door Phone

The Akuvox R20B 4 Button SIP Video Door Phone is a compact and versatile entrance intercom designed to provide video communication, access control and door entry functionality in a single unit. With four call buttons, a 2MP wide-angle camera and integrated RFID reader, the R20B is well suited to villas, houses, apartment buildings and other applications requiring a
professional IP-based entrance solution.

Built around SIP technology, the R20B enables two-way audio communication over IP networks and incorporates echo cancellation for clear communication between visitors and  occupants. SIP compatibility also allows the door phone to be integrated with compatible SIP-based PBX and communication systems.

2MP Wide-Angle Video Camera

The integrated 2MP camera provides a wide 110° horizontal and 58° vertical viewing angle, helping provide a clear view of visitors at the entrance. Video resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 is supported, together with H.264 video encoding and a maximum image transfer rate of 30fps at 1080p.

For low-light conditions, the R20B features automatic night mode with LED illumination. The camera supports automatic white balance and has a minimum illumination specification of 0.1 lux.

Integrated RFID Access Control

An integrated 13.56MHz and 125kHz RF card reader provides convenient credential-based access control. Supported card types include EM, Mifare and DesFire EV1, EV2 and EV3 cards. NFC is also supported with compatible Android devices.

Two independently controlled relay outputs allow the R20B to be incorporated into door and gate access applications. The unit also provides two inputs, along with Wiegand and RS485 connectivity for integration with compatible access control equipment.

Four Call Buttons for Multi-User Entrances

This model incorporates four call buttons wi \th nameplates, making it suitable for entrances requiring individual call points for multiple occupants, residences or destinations. The compact design provides these functions without requiring a large entrance panel.

SIP and ONVIF Integration

Support for SIP and ONVIF provides flexibility when integrating the R20B into compatible IP communication and video systems. The unit supports SIP v1 and SIP v2, while ONVIF compatibility enables integration with compatible third-party video equipment such as NVRs.

Audio capabilities include G.711a, G.711? and G.722 codecs, along with echo cancellation, voice activation detection and comfort noise generation.

PoE Connectivity and Flexible Installation

The R20B features a 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface and supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installations where compatible network infrastructure is available.

Both flush-mounted and wall-mounted installation options are supported, providing flexibility for different entrance configurations. The front panel is manufactured from aluminium alloy, while tamper alarm functionality adds another practical feature for entrance installations.

Designed for Outdoor Entrances

With an IP65 ingress protection rating, the R20B is designed for demanding entrance environments where resistance to dust and water is required. Its specified working temperature range is -30°C to +60°C, with a working humidity range of 10% to 90%.
