Akuvox WR01-LTE Intelligent Edge Web Relay Controller with 4G LTE

The Akuvox WR01-LTE is an intelligent network-controlled edge relay combining wired Ethernet, Bluetooth and 4G LTE connectivity in one compact controller. It provides two relays, two inputs, local web management and an open HTTP API for controlling compatible equipment either independently or as part of a larger access control or automation network.

The manufacturer designates the cellular version as WR01-L. The distributor SKU AK-WR01-LTE identifies this model as the LTE-equipped version of the WR01.

Integrated 4G LTE Connectivity

The WR01-LTE includes cellular connectivity, a SIM card slot and three LTE signal indicators. This enables cellular deployment at locations such as remote sites and parking facilities where relying solely on conventional wired network infrastructure may be impractical.

The LTE signal indicators provide direct visibility of cellular signal status at the controller.

Caller-ID Relay Activation

In addition to browser, API and BLE control, the WR01-LTE supports cellular call-based remote operation through Caller-ID activation. This functionality is specific to the LTE-equipped model.

Two Relays and Two Inputs

The WR01-LTE provides two relay outputs and two inputs for connection to compatible locks, sensors and other controlled equipment. This allows multiple control and monitoring functions to be handled by one edge controller.

Integrated Web Management

A built-in web server enables management through a compatible standard web browser without requiring dedicated client software. The controller stores its user and access information locally for direct retrieval and management.

Deployment and maintenance functions include auto-provisioning, configuration backup and restore, firmware upgrades, system logs, Akuvox Cloud management, Akuvox SDMC and ACMS Pro support.

Open HTTP API and BLE

The WR01-LTE supports an open HTTP API for integration with compatible third-party systems. Bluetooth 5.0 provides BLE proximity-based relay control as an additional local access method.

High-Capacity Local Storage

The controller supports up to 20,000 users and stores up to 100,000 access logs locally. This allows access records and user information to remain available at the network edge.

PoE and Wide-Range AC/DC Power

IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows the WR01-LTE to receive wired network connectivity and power through compatible PoE infrastructure.

The controller can alternatively accept 12V DC at 1A, 24V DC at 500mA, 12V AC at 1A or 24V AC at 500mA.

12V DC Auxiliary Power Output

An integrated power output supplies up to 12V DC at 0.5A for one compatible external device. Depending on the requirements of the connected equipment, this may reduce the need for an additional local power supply.

Ethernet Network Connectivity

A 10/100Mbps adaptive RJ45 Ethernet interface provides wired network connectivity when available. Supported protocols include IPv4, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, NTP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP and ARP.

Wall or DIN Rail Installation

The WR01-LTE supports both wall-mounted and DIN rail installation. Its compact aluminium alloy enclosure is suitable for access control cabinets, equipment enclosures and other installation environments.

The WR01-LTE measures 164 x 71 x 26.9mm and has a specified working temperature range of -20°C to +55°C.
